'Colour should be thought, dreamt and imagined'
I cannot imagine a world without colour. Sunrises, sunsets, the changing of the seasons. Colour is always around us. The act of squeezing paints from their tubes onto a pallet to begin painting. Taking a skein of white wool to the dye pot, adding dyes and watching it slowly change to rich hues. To mix strands of different coloured yarns onto bobbins and begin to weave. Slowly an image evolves. Rich in colour mixing that can only be achieved in the age old slow art of hand woven tapestry.
These are all the small joys that daily enrich my life.
